Cascade Components provides a limited warranty to the original purchaser against all defects in original workmanship and material under normal use and service for the life of the link, with the following exceptions:
- Bearings and bushings are considered a wear item and are not covered under warranty.
- Cascade Components does not warranty any product for aesthetic finishes. Issues with surface finish that do not affect function of the product are not covered under warranty.
- Plastic chain guide components are considered wear items and are not covered under warranty.
- Brake pistons and seals are warrantied for one year from purchase. Unless ridden at a bike park in which case they are considered a wear item and are not covered.
- Damage caused by the failure of any part not manufactured by Cascade Components is not covered.
- Damage due to misuse or improper installation.
We design our links to stand the test of time. If none of the above exceptions apply to you, we will replace your link should it break, regardless of date of purchase, so long as we still have them in stock.
Should your product prove to be defective within the terms of the warranty, it will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Cascade Components free of charge with the exclusion of shipping and handling charges. Cascade Components is not be responsible for any shipping charges to or from Cascade Components.
It is your responsibility to ensure proper installation of all parts. If you are unsure of any aspect of the installation process please contact us before proceeding. Do not ride your bike without checking all clearances, torque specs, and functionalities. Issues related to improperly installed parts are not covered.
Additionally, it is your responsibility to ensure proper maintenance of your bike. Issues related to improper maintenance are not covered. All fasteners should be torqued on a regular basis to ensure they are tight and all moving joints should be inspected for play.
We do not cover or warranty any part of your bike that we do not manufacture.
